'SHAKE-UP' LOOMING IN BATTERY POWER?

July 21, 2010

Brother Industries of Japan, best known for its printers, has developed a battery that delivers power after a vigorous shake.  It says it could eventually replace the AA and AAA batteries in items that require a small amount of power, like TV remotes and LED flashlights.  A few shakes and you should be able to change the channel thirty times before you have to shake it again.
