The Queen of All Things is in hospital.  Heather Locklear's sister called 911 yesterday afternoon around 2 when she found Heather taking prescriptions drugs and mixing them with alcohol.  Heather was rushed  to the hospital by ambulance.  As of 8pm yesterday doctors say she was responding well to treatment and her parents are with her at hospital. It is hoped she will be released today.

The 54th Grammy Awards will be handed out Feb. 12th... so far as far as rock goes we know the Foos will perform...and they are nominated for a total of 6 trophies too.

Despite the jeweler telling the world the giant hunk of emerald ring was an engagement ring, Halle Berry says nuh-uh. She and boyfriend Olivier Martinez deny there is any impending wedding...they say the ring was a gift and they are a committed couple..but that's all folks.

A Turkish court has pressed charges against Britain's Duchess of York for secretly filming orphanages in Turkey.  Fergie was charged in absentia of going "against the law in acquiring footage and violating privacy" of five children.  Her secretly filmed footage shows atrocities such as children tied to their beds or left too long in cribs alone.  The images were broadcast to expose the issue.  She faces a maximum term of 22 1/2 years in prison if convicted. No trial date has been set.

Just when you think Sinead O'Connor's story can't get weirder...it does. News now that  O'Connor attempted suicide by overdose last week. On Friday she was well enough to thrill an A-list crowd at a cocktail party whose guests included Glenn Close where she preformed...then she says she very nearly tried to commit suicide again this past Tuesday...then she made the desperate plea on twitter for psychiatric help Wednesday. Now she says she has medication and therapy appointments covering the next 6 weeks.


They are being called "the happiest unmarried couple in L.A." Courteney Cox says "He's my favorite person in the world," of her soon to be ex-husband David Arquette. "He's my best friend. No matter what happens in our future, he's my very best friend." And she says they recently went out to celebrate his first year of sobriety.

 

Eddie Van Halen donated 75 electric guitars from his personal collection to Los Angeles-area high schools as a way to inspire music in kids. The schools were not told where the instruments came from until they arrived and then they were advised to keep them locked up.   The guitars went to seven schools serving mostly low-income students.   

 

And it's Golden Globe night with Ricky Gervais Sunday night...he says to tame himself would be an injustice to the audience so look out!
