The OPP reporting a horrific fatal accident on Highway 400 around 11:30 pm Thursday night. They say a car and pick up truck collided in the southbound lanes south of County Road 88. Both drivers got out to look at the damage, as one returned to his vehicle to turn on the emergency blinkers he was struck by a minivan, thrown right over the centre median and then struck by a northbound vehicle. The 24 year old Orangeville man pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries. The highway was closed in both directions between Highway 9 and County Road 88 and was expected to remain so until roughly 6:30 a.m. Friday morning.
