A LOW-CAL CHOCOLATE BAR?

Mars Inc, the maker of Snickers and Twix candy bars says it will stop making and selling chocolate bars that have more than 250 calories.

How blasphemous. This is like low fat mayonnaise, coffee cream, salad dressing, sour cream etc. None of it tastes right. I bought low cal salad dressing by mistake recently. Took that sucker right back and changed it for the real deal!

I get that eating and living healthy are good choices...but moderation should suffice. What's next?

I have food allergies.

msg, nitrates, sulfites, BHT; any fake sweetner.

Next time you are shopping compare the ingredients on the low fat and the "normal kind" you always by.

The low fat list is like 16 ingredients long-names you can't pronounce.

And yes, the low fat tastes gross.

Have your normal "fat" one and just have less.

My feeling is: if I'm going to eat, I want to enjoy my food.

Tip: if the ingredient list is longer than 6 things you shouldn't eat it.

Next time you purchase pre-made burgers--read the ingredients.

I can buy two brands PC Sirloin and Irresitables--that clearly only say: beef, water.

The chocolate bars are 240 calories because they are smaller and yet they still charge the same price.
