Now that school is back in, it's time to take a look back on the 95 Days of Summer to see if they got a pass or a fail for 2010. The 95 Days of Summer on ROCK 95 run from the Victoria Day weekend through Labour Day.
While I was ready to give the summer season close to a 94% for the year going into the 2nd last weekend of the summer, some serious deductions came into play over the Labour Day weekend when the temperatures plummeted and the entire long weekend was cloudy, wet, windy and very cool, leaving a distinct blemish on what was almost a perfect summer.
As a result, the final grade I'm prepared to give the summer of 2010 is an impressive 86% for the year.
All in all, it was one of the BEST summer's we've had in a long time. There was enough sunny, warm days to keep the beach goers, cottagers and weekend warriors happy, plus enough rain to keep the farmers and lawn owners happy. How often does that happen?
I hope you had one of the BEST summer's ever! Have your say in the comment section below.
