NEW MUSIC IN 2012
Brenda Devine
January 03, 2012
It's a new year, with a lot of new albums being released, and one from an artist that I thought after the death of one of his band mates, that he would call it quits, but thankfully he hasn't. That is the Boss
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.. The Boss returns with his 17th studio album - How he'll handle the loss of late, great sax man Clarence Clemons remains to be seen -
Black Sabbath.. have regrouped and are in the studio with Rick Rubin recording their first full-length since 1978's "Never Say Die". Hail Satan and pass the Metamucil.
Van Halen .. with David Lee Roth back on lead vocals .
Paul McCartney new album entitled.. My Valentine.. McCartney's first pop album since 2007's Memory Almost Full .. this album will be a disc of old-time music-hall standards and like-minded originals, set for release one week before Valentine's Day.
Green Day.. it's only been two years since 21st Century Breakdown. But they've been road-testing some 15 new tunes at recent club shows -- including a song for the late Amy Winehouse -- So a new studio album shouldn't be too far behind
Rush.. entitled Clockwork Angels.. We were introduced to two new tracks last summer, - Caravan and BU2B - from this 19th studio album. Word is they'll finally unveil the rest this June.
ZZ Top.. According to guitarist Billy Gibbons, the long-overdue sequel to their 2003 album is in the can and arriving this year.
AND 75 MORE ALBUMS TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN 2012
